200 sq mtr lawn
♥ 0 | Hi, currently I have an aging florabest petrol lawn mower and the deck is rusting out fierce 15 years of service…it’s got a 46cm blade and I use the mulching function almost exclusively. For the price at the time, my local mower specialist suggested a more prestigious brand machine would have cost around £400…I think I paid about £150. It’s self propelled too(which I don’t use, find it quicker without>..and appreciate the exercise)…..I’m budget conscious and £200 is really my top out point. What do you recommend in terms of petrol or battery powered please ? ANSWERED Marked as spam Add comment |
Private answer Thanks for sharing the details about your current mower—15 years is a great run! With your budget and needs in mind, I’d really recommend taking a look at my lawn mower selection tool here: https://easylawnmowing.co.uk/find-the-best-lawnmower/. It’ll help narrow down the best options for your lawn size, budget, and the features you want (like mulching). In my opinion, battery-powered (cordless) mowers have come a long way in recent years. They’re much quieter, more environmentally friendly, and have lower ongoing costs—no fuel, oil, or spark plugs to worry about, and no fumes. For most people, cordless mowers are now a really practical and cost-effective choice, especially for small to medium-sized lawns. You’ll also find they’re easier to start and maintain. With a budget of £200, you should be able to find some decent cordless options that offer mulching and a similar cutting width. If you use the selection tool, you can filter by price and features to see what’s available right now. Let me know if you need any help using the tool or want some specific recommendations!
