0

Good morning, I was hoping you could advise us through the wide range of battery lawn mowers, my parents are in need of new one with following criteria:
Self propelled
Light weight – my dad has had a triple bypass so weight is an issue, My mum sometimes does it.
Good battery life, larger amp hrs, double battery etc
Garden is medium sized cut weekly
Parents are mid 80’s
price point up to £400
Thank you very much

Given your parents' age and your father’s health condition, you might actually want to consider a non-self-propelled (push) model instead.

While self-propelled mowers do the work of moving forward, the additional motor and drive components make them significantly heavier and bulkier. A lightweight, push-style cordless mower is often much easier to maneuver around corners and, crucially, much lighter to lift when putting it away in a shed or garage. Additionally, because the battery isn't powering the wheels, it will last longer per charge.

To help me narrow down the best lightweight options within your £400 budget, could you let me know roughly how large the lawn is? (For example, is it about the size of a tennis court, or smaller?)

Kind regards
Mark
