Husqvarna lc34 or worx 779e
| ♥ 0 | Hi Mark, found your great reviews and im currently looking to replace my yardforce g32 which has died. My garden is relatively small (maybe 150sqm) but it is on a very steep slope so lightness is important. My grass also grows quickly and in the spring my yardforce always struggled greatly. On the works i have price and more power, on the husqvarna i have a lighter option, with bosch batteries which i could reuse in future tools and hopefully better reliability/brand. Im worried the husqvarna (18v) might underperform for the extra price, but then again the yardforce maybe was poor for its 40v rating? In your experience what would you do? Thanks for your help! | Private answer Hi Filippo, Thanks for your message and for checking out my reviews! I haven’t tested the Husqvarna LC34 specifically, so I can’t speak to its exact performance. That said, in my experience, most lightweight cordless mowers—regardless of brand or voltage—can struggle a bit with long or fast-growing grass. If your grass grows quickly, my best advice would be to mow several times rather than trying to tackle it all in one go. For your first cut after a growth spurt, start with the mower deck set at the highest height and then gradually work your way down over subsequent mows. This approach helps avoid overloading the mower and gives a cleaner finish. Between the Worx 779e and the Husqvarna, it really comes down to what you prioritise—power and price versus weight and battery compatibility. Since your garden is on a steep slope, the lighter Husqvarna might be easier to handle, but just keep in mind that lighter, lower-voltage mowers sometimes sacrifice a bit of cutting power. You could also consider the Greenworks 48v 36cm G24X2LM36K4X, this is a lightweight mower with 48v power and has a slightly larger deck at 36cm.
