No I haven't tested this mower but I did take a look at it in my local homebase. Build quality seems good but I have had feedback saying the battery runtime is poor. You are only getting a 2.5Ah battery, but a mower with a 40cm deck would benefit from a 4Ah battery.

Also, my Homebase is closing down and I believe they have gone into liquidation, so spares and consumables may become an issue.

What is your lawn size? Have you looked at the LawnMaster or Greenworks cordless mowers?

Hi Mark, Thanks so much for the reply....your site is awesome BTW! I did think this about Homebase and was tempted by the price and to stock up on spare batteries, but I don't think I'll go with this option. I like the lawnmaster offerings, the 41cm or 46cm ....but sadly missed the great deals they were running a month or so back. The spare batteries make it appealing. Greenworks look good but no roller from what I can tell? Lawn size is around 350 square meters. Other option also noticed on your reviews is the Cobra RM4140v. Not sure if I'd need a second battery though. Also a bit restricted as I'm based in Northern Ireland. Thank you
