Stihl cordless mower?
Answer Question| ♥ 0 |  Thanks for the very useful website. I’m loooking for a cordless mower for a lawn area around 200sqm, divided between front and back, with steps between necessitating carrying! There is also some slope at the back. I’ve previously used self propelled petrol mowers (in another garden) but obviously that wouldn’t be suitable here, and I would prefer cordless electric for noise and environmental reasons. Self propelled mowers seem to start at around 42cm width which seems unecessarily wide – and heavy to lift. So I’m wondering if a push version would be suitable. Specifically I’ve been looking at the Stihl RMA 239 C, but you don’t seem to have any info on Stihl equipment. Any thoughts? (PS I’m petite and not getting any younger!) | Private answer Hi, yes the Stihl RMA 239 C will make a great purchase and would be considered a higher end mower in terms of build quality/performance etc. I do think a push mower would be fine (under 15kg), and yes you are correct that self propelled models do tend to have larger decks. If budget is a consideration, then you may want to consider the LawnMaster 34cm cordless mower. This would also keep the weight to a minimum when navigating the steps. The only thing is, it does have a rear roller??
