| Private answer Thanks for the kind words about my reviews! To answer your questions: Would a brushed motor put me off? Not necessarily for a small, simple lawn, but for a long-term investment, brushless is definitely superior. Brushed motors have carbon brushes that eventually wear out and create more internal friction/heat. Is brushless quieter? Yes, generally. Because there is no physical contact between brushes and a commutator, there is less mechanical noise and vibration. Which should you go for? I would recommend the LawnMaster 38cm.
