Cobra MX460SPH OR Mountfield SP46 Elite – which would you recommend?

Both machines are almost identical in spec, both have the same Honda engine, steel chassis, 46cm cutting width, priced identically aswell. | Private answer Since both share the same excellent Honda engine and steel chassis, the choice comes down to features and personal experience. I actually use a Cobra on my own lawn and am extremely happy with its performance and build quality. While both mowers offer mulching options, the Cobra MX460SPH includes a side discharge feature as well, giving you more versatility for longer grass. The Mountfield SP46 Elite is also a solid machine, and its main advantage is the massive UK dealer network, which makes finding local servicing or parts very easy over the long term. Verdict: Given my positive personal experience and the added side discharge feature, I’d recommend the Cobra. It offers slightly more for the same price.
