Lawnmower is not happy cutting even slightly damp lawn…it backfires persistently ..manual says don’t use when grass wet! ….my mower was rather expensive a few years ago…..next door neighbour has less expensive petrol mower which copes admirably with wet grass & is able to mow early morning in spite of heavy dew! Early morning totally out of the question have to wait until late afternoon. Why ? ANSWERED

Unfortunately, this is likely a design characteristic of your mower model rather than something easily fixable. Premium features that work great on dry grass often become disadvantages in wet conditions. More complex cutting deck that clogs easily when we, sophisticated mulching/collection system overwhelmed by heavy, wet clippings, engine tuned for optimal dry-grass performance. Marked as spam
