Reduce speed

Reduce speed

I am finding the lowest speed too fast for me.
Will it reduce with wearing in or is there any other way to slow down the ground speed ?
I have owned a hayter mower for over 40 years and not had this problem, otherwise such an excellent mower
Sincerely Martyn

Hi Martyn, unfortunately, the ground speed will not reduce over time as the mower wears in. Modern drive systems are designed to maintain a consistent speed, so if the lowest setting is currently too fast for you, it is unlikely to slow down with use.
