Best Robotic Mower, Anthbot or Segway Navimo or Luba Mini AWD

Best Robotic Mower, Anthbot or Segway Navimo or Luba Mini AWD

0

Hi Mark

Great content very informative.

I am trying to decide on a robot mower and wanted to pick your brain, I have 2 lawns. One is 300m2 the other 800m2. The bigger one is a bit rough also.

At the moment I am leaning towards the Segway Navimo H3000e or the Anthbot (based off your review) Genie 1000.

My concern with the anthbot though is if I have a problem who do I call. As I am in Ireland and there are no distributors here, I would be purchasing online.

Do you think the Anthbot is a safe option?
Or should I be concerned about lack of repair centres. I am good with tech myself so setup connectivity wise I am not worried, it’s more so if I need to replace a sensor or faulty part, I’m not sure how I could do this.

Be very keen to hear your thoughts and also if you believe the Anthbot is as good as your first impression review was.

Finally should I be considering a different mower altogether? I did think the Worx landroid L1600 but the moving between zones would not work easily as I have about 15m from lawn 1 – 2.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks again

Derek

Actually should also say another option I've just stumbled across would be the Luba Mini AWD, so would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks

    Hi Derek,

Thank you for your email and your kind words about my content.

I haven't tested the Segway Navimo myself, but I can share my experience with the Anthbot Genie. It's a great mower - I set it up in my neighbour's lawn and it handles 700m2 on a single charge very well. However, for your situation with a total of 1100m2 (300m2 + 800m2), I would recommend going for the Genie 3000 rather than the Genie 1000 if you decide on the Anthbot route.

The WORX Landroid L1600 wouldn't be suitable for your needs in my opinion.

Given that you mentioned your larger lawn is "a bit rough," I would actually recommend considering the Luba Mini. It has 4-wheel drive which handles uneven terrain much better, and importantly, it has support in the UK which would address your concerns about service and repairs.
For more information, see my video review for this mower below:

While the Genie is an excellent mower, you would need to smooth out any holes in your lawn for optimal performance. Both the Genie and Luba offer outstanding technology at a much lower cost compared to the Segway.

Anthbot are working on setting up support in the UK, Ireland and Europe but there is not timescale at the moment, as this is a new mower.

If you do decide to purchase, I would appreciate if you use my affiliate links below, I included both for the EU and UK-
