Best 5-800m2 robotic mower without breaking the bank!
| ♥ 0 |
Really enjoy your reviews on youtube, I am about to take the plunge and struggling to decide on the right robotic mower. The Mamotion Yuka mini 2 caught my eye after your review, but with the speed of new models launching it is difficult to know which brand to opt for. The Worx vision cloud 500m2 seems to be a similar price, and also looks good. Both however to me are a considered purchase at £800ish. My garden is a wrap around plot, so access and zones are not such an issue, although the lawn does have a fairly steep slope in one corner. I am really looking for a reccomendation on a futurproofed design/brand/technology from an expert like yourself who has first hand experience with the software, durability and customer care. Any help would be brilliant! Note: as my requirements are fairly simple, i would consider a ‘last years model’ if there was something with robust, but older tech at a great price, as long as it isnt a boundary wire. Thanks!! Hi, Thanks for the kind words about the reviews! Both the WORX and Mammotion would make a great choice for your lawn. In my experience, Mammotion is currently slightly ahead in terms of functionality, both within the robot itself and the app interface. One thing to bear in mind regarding your question on future-proofing is that Mammotion does tend to stop updating older versions of their mowers after a while, similar to how Apple handles older iPhone iOS versions. However, this isn't necessarily a major issue if the mower is already working well and doing what you want it to do. For example, my neighbor has my original LUBA 1 which hasn't been updated for many months; the mower still works exactly as expected, and he is still delighted with the performance and results after three years of use. Either way, both brands are solid, but if you want that extra bit of technical edge, Mammotion is a great way to go. I would appreciate if you use my affiliate link should you decide to purchase Best regards Mark Marked as spam
