Can the Yuka mini cope with a bumpy lawn
♥ 0 | I’m on the verge of ordering the Yuka Mini following your exellent review. However im nervous about how it will cope with my bumpy lawn. I dont have any slopes but my lawn is bumpy in some areas, will the Yuka mini cope ok with this? ANSWERED Marked as spam Add comment |
Private answer Depending on how bumpy your lawn is, you may be better going for the LUBA Mini AWD with suspension on all 4 wheels and of course 4 wheel drive. The LUBA's suspension system would provide a more stable platform over uneven terrain, which could result in a more consistent cut height across your bumpy lawn. The YUKA Mini can manage moderate bumpiness, but since the 2 front caster wheels are fixed with no suspension, all the shock absorption is happening through the chassis and cutting mechanism, very uneven terrain could potentially affect its cutting performance and possibly cause more wear on the machine over time. If your lawn has just minor undulations, the YUKA would likely be fine, but if you have significant bumps or very uneven sections, the LUBA Mini AWD would probably be the better investment for long-term performance and reliability. Consider how bumpy your lawn really is - if it's just the occasional undulation, the YUKA should cope adequately, but for consistently rough terrain, the suspension system of the LUBA would be advantageous.
