Does Yuka Mini get into corners?

On your excellent video review of the Yuka Mini we saw the auto mapping taking place. The mower didn’t overrun the edges or corners. Does that mean that there will be a small edge or corner that needs cutting by other means?

Generally, all robotic mowers require some manual trimming unless they can straddle the edge where a path and lawn are level. The new LUBA Mini 2026 improves this with a separate edge-cutting blade, leaving only about 5cm of uncut grass when it cannot straddle the edge.

Regarding the Yuka Mini, while its auto-mapping is precise, it is designed not to overrun boundaries for safety. Because of its physical shape and sensor buffers, it cannot reach the very apex of a 90-degree corner or cut flush against a wall. This means there will be a small strip and corner tufts that still require manual trimming.

Kind regards
Mark
