Generally, all robotic mowers require some manual trimming unless they can straddle the edge where a path and lawn are level. The new LUBA Mini 2026 improves this with a separate edge-cutting blade, leaving only about 5cm of uncut grass when it cannot straddle the edge.
Regarding the Yuka Mini, while its auto-mapping is precise, it is designed not to overrun boundaries for safety. Because of its physical shape and sensor buffers, it cannot reach the very apex of a 90-degree corner or cut flush against a wall. This means there will be a small strip and corner tufts that still require manual trimming.
