I have enjoyed your videos- very helpful, thanks very much. I see that the Luba3 is shortly to come out…. I have never had a robot lawnmower before as have been waiting for the technology to get good enough to buy one for a ‘complicated’ garden, (trees, flower beds, garden in different sections (so path between different areas of the lawn),a bridge to go over and also one that does stripes. Do you think the technology is there to be able to do this now? I had thought about getting a Husqvarna as it is a known and trusted brand but wonder about the Luba3. It is a bit cheaper (not the main priority as it will hopefully be the only one I buy for many many years!).
Are you going to be reviewing a Luba3? I see they have a deal this weekend for ‘early May’ delivery.
Thanks

Harry

Hi Harry

Thanks for the message and the kind words about the videos.

To answer your question: Yes, the technology has definitely reached the point where it can handle a "complicated" garden like yours. The LUBA 3 AWD is specifically designed for these environments because it doesn't rely on just one signal; it uses a "triple-navigation" system combining RTK, 3D LiDAR, and dual-vision cameras. This allows it to maintain precision even under trees, across bridges, or through narrow paths where a standard GPS signal might drop. It also handles those classic lawn stripes beautifully.

I actually have a LUBA 3 AWD here and will be testing it out next week on my neighbor’s farm in some very challenging conditions. If you can wait a few days, you’ll be able to see it in action in a real-world test before you make your final decision!

All the best
Mark
