Private answer It really depends on the edge - if it is flat and level with the lawn then there will be no trimming to do as the mower will cut over the edge. If not, as with all robot mowers, there will be a small amount of trimming to do, as can be seen in my video. The Yuka 2000, like most robot mowers, gets quite close to edges where the lawn is level with the surrounding surface (like paths or driveways). However, if you have raised edges, flower beds, or any kind of drop-off, the mower will leave a small strip uncut to avoid falling off. In general, you might need to do some occasional edge trimming with a strimmer every few weeks, but it's typically minimal compared to the time saved by the robot doing the main cutting.
