Hi Mark, some advice on robotic mowers
| ♥ 0 | Hi Mark, I noticed you on YouTube and hoped you might share your experience. I have a 1000 sq/m back garden and previously used an Einhell Freelexo 1200 and my experience was both good and bad, however after 3 years of finding it in the middle of the garden and it refusing to charge, and the even changed the entire mower at one point, I eventually had enough an they gave me a full refund. I’ve noticed the Worx L2000 on offer for £499 and am tempted to get it however I wonder how reliable they are. However the other thought is to go all in for a AI wireless robot mower but they are £1000 more. I’m know it will save me time when the boundary wire breaks but I have a wire break detector. | Private answer At £499, the Worx L2000 is an absolute bargain. If you already have a boundary wire down, it makes a lot of sense to stick with it. The reason prices are dropping so significantly is that perimeter wire mowers are being phased out by the newer RTK, LiDAR, and AI camera-guided models. However, in terms of reliability, Worx is excellent. I’ve actually just replaced a Worx S400 on my front lawn that ran for 4 years with absolutely no issues.
