How best to extend Wi-Fi into garden for a Robotic Lawnmower?

Private answer Thank you for asking about WiFi coverage for the Yuka Mini. I use TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor WiFi 5 Access Points to extend my WiFi coverage - one mounted on my front wall and another on my back wall. These outdoor-rated access points effectively broadcast your network throughout the garden areas. With good Wi-Fi coverage like this setup provides, you typically don't need the 4G connectivity for regular operation of your robot mower. Regarding the 4G subscription from Mammotion, it's very reasonably priced at less than £50 per year. While not necessary with proper Wi-Fi coverage, the 4G option does provide for a greater range between the RTK station and the mower (however with iNavi you don't need the RTK station anymore here in the UK). You can see my video of the iNavi option here - https://youtu.be/3V7kl6XKXAs For most users with solid Wi-Fi coverage throughout their garden, the Wi-Fi connection alone is sufficient for daily operation. Also, my review of the YUKA Mini is here, which incudes a video of me setting it up, step by step Marked as spam |
