How good is the mammotion garage?
| ♥ 0 | Excellent and very informative video on the mammotion luba mini 2 AWD 1000, for which many thanks. This mower is perfect for my needs except for one thing – the 5 metres to first lawn is a bit of a snag for me. I live in the Outer Hebrides with lots of wind and rain and to locate the charging station within 5 metres would leave it exposed to the frequent heavy winds and rain we experience here. The mammotion garage protects against rain from the top but wont stop the wind driving rain through the sides – i have seen other garages on amazon that do protect the sides, could i simply house the Luba in one of these during the cutting season and put the machine and charging station away in the winter. | Private answer Yes—lots of people build their own garages with sides and it works well, especially in exposed spots like yours. The OEM plastic covers aren’t great; they don’t stop wind‑driven rain and can warp or sag in extreme heat. A DIY or third‑party shelter with side protection is a sensible approach—just keep good ventilation and clear access for docking.
