How well does the LawnMaster VBRM16 detect edges?

0

I have a raised garden, edged with sleepers where the surface of the lawn is at the same height as the sleepers, with a drop on the other side. My concern is that the edge wont be detected and the mower will just go sailing over the edge. The sleepers are 10cm wide, so theres a pretty clear visual boundary, but no height difference.

eg:

*********==

Grass. Sleeper

Will this work?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, the LawnMaster VBRM16's sensors will detect the difference between the grass surface and the sleeper material, so it should recognise that boundary and turn away rather than continuing over the edge.

The 10cm width of your sleepers provides a good visual boundary that the mower's detection system can identify, even without a height difference.

Best regards Mark
