I don’t have an exterior charging point
| ♥ 0 | I don’t have an outdoor charging point but due to limited mobility a traditional mower is tricky for me to use. ANSWERED Marked as spam Add comment |
| Private answer I wouldn’t recommend the manual "garage-to-lawn" approach, especially with limited mobility, as robot mowers are heavy and awkward to carry. While the Yuka Mini 2 does have a "drop and mow" feature that allows it to work without a fixed setup, I wouldn't suggest it for your situation. You would be paying a significant premium for advanced features like RTK (satellite navigation) and mapping that you simply won't be utilizing if you aren't using the charging dock. My Advice: If you cannot install an outdoor power point, you would be better off purchasing a dedicated "drop and mow" robotic mower (such as an LawnMaster drop and mow robotic lawnmower or similar). These are designed specifically to be placed on the grass and started manually without boundary wires or docks.
