Is the ANTHBOT Genie a good purchase for me?
| ♥ 0 | Hi Mark, I am considering buying a refurbished ANTHBOT Genie 1000, ~€700. I recently moved onto a half acre site and am looking for a reasonably priced robotic lawnmower. The garden does not have defined edges and I would prefer not to run a boundary wire so am considering the ANTHBOT Genie 1000. Is this a good choice or are there other mowers in a similar price range you would recommend? I can give more details about the garden if needed. Thanks! | Private answer My neighbor used the Anthbot Genie all last year without any issues and it left the lawn looking great; they’ll be putting it back out very soon. It’s a solid budget option, though the app is not as user-friendly or intuitive as the Mammotion app. If your budget can stretch, I’d suggest looking at the older LUBA or YUKA Minis for a better software experience. Regarding your site, a half-acre is roughly 2,000m², so the Genie 1000 will likely be undersized. As a general rule, it is always best to choose a mower rated for significantly more than your actual lawn size. A higher-capacity mower is much more efficient, completes the cut faster, and requires fewer charging cycles, which reduces wear and tear on the battery and hardware.
