Is the Yuka 1000 the same as the Yuka 1500

Hi Mark,
After going through the very helpful reviews on your website I had decided on the yuka 1500 however when I go the the mammotion website it seems this model is no longer available!
The specs of the 1000 look very similar, are they the same? I have 3 lawns measuring approx 1200m in total, slightly sloped but well within the range of the yuka so I don’t think I would need a luba. Would the yuka 1000 be suitable?
Thank you in advance.

The Yuka 1500 was the earlier 2024 model, and it has now been replaced by the Yuka 1000. The specs are indeed very similar, with the main difference being the recommended mowing area. The Yuka 1000 is recommended for lawns up to 1000㎡, but it can handle a maximum area of up to 1600㎡.

With your total lawn area of around 1200㎡, you are above the recommended but still below the maximum capacity. This means the Yuka 1000 should be able to manage your lawns, though it may need to recharge partway through to finish the job, depending on factors like grass length and slope. The slightly sloped terrain you mentioned is within the Yuka’s capabilities, so you shouldn’t need to upgrade to the Luba.

Overall, the Yuka 1000 should be a suitable choice for your needs, just keep in mind that mowing the full 1200㎡ may require the robot to complete its work in multiple sessions with recharging in between.

If you have any more questions or need further advice, feel free to ask!

Best regards,

Mark
