Landroid s300 or lawnmaster vbrm16

Landroid s300 or lawnmaster vbrm16

0

I can’t decide which of these is the best choice…… do they both cut the lawn as well as each other or is one neater finish? My lawn is small (10m x 5m) but not very even….. a few lumps and bumps here and there. I keep swapping and changing my mind about these two machines…… I like the idea of a floating plate on the landroid, but then like drop & go aspect of the ocumow. I can see the advantage of leaving the landroid out to ‘ get on with it’ but then I’m laying a boundary wire and worry about breaks in the line. Would the landroid cut the entire lawn in the 60 min runtime or would the ocumow be better with a 4h run time? I am currently overseeding and trying to fill a few bare patches due to a shady north side and very heavy clay soil but would like to have the best mower ready to go once the seeds have germinated and filled in the bare patches.
Thanks

Hi, to be honest with you for your sized lawn, I would go for the WORX S300. For the simple reason that once it is set up you can use the app to schedule the mower and just forget about it. I do understand the appeal of the OcuMow 16 drop and mow, but to me the whole point of a robotic mower, if you have a single lawn, is for as least work as possible. I still use the S300 on my front lawn and even though the boundary wire has now buried itself it still works without any problems. I have had 1 break in the wire last year (when scarifying) but if you leave several loops of extra wire in your circuit, you can simply pull through and re-join. Also just to let you know there is OcuMow 18 (VBRM 18) that has just been released, it comes with a charging station and is camara guided, so no boundary wire is required - best of both worlds! You can see my video review of this mower below - https://easylawnmowing.co.uk/lawnmaster-vbrm18amdr-ocumow-review/

Let me know if you have any more questions
Thanks Mark
