Landroid Vision questions

I just happened to come across your website and your video about the new Landroid Vision. Great video, thanks for that. I am considering replacing my Landroid WR155E. I have a large property in France. Now the following questions arise: The perimeter is quite “rough” practically everywhere. Is there a way for the mower to recognise this? Magnetic strips are out of the question because the terrain is simply too large. I’ll attach a picture for you. Second question: The old mower always follows the copper wire on the way home. Over the course of the year, this causes deep grooves along the edge which I have to fill up again and again. How does the “Vision” orientate itself to get to the docking station? Stubbornly along the edge or directly and randomly? It would be great if I could get a short answer from you. That would be much appreciated.

Hi Christopher

The Landroid Vision would not be the best option for your lawn from my experience with it. I tried it on my neighbours lawn that had a similar layout to yours and it does need a defined edge for the boundary to would effectively and cover all areas.

Also, it does follow the boundary when returning home, hence why the positioning of the charging station is dictated this way.

The only way, in my opinion, would be a boundary wire or GPS (RTK). I have the new Luba 2 AWD 5000 on order for April this year. I will do a review on my lawn then take it to my neighbours to see how it fares in more challenging conditions like yours.

Thanks
Mark
