Lawnmaster Ocumow 16 problems

Your excellent video review on the Lawnmaster OcuMow inspired me to buy one but I have been having problems with it ever since.
My lawn is split into 3 or 4 parts so I have to carry the mower from one part to another. When I start the mower off on one part it works fine until I press the stop button and remove the isolator key to take it to the next part. I reinsert the key and press the start button again but no lights flash and nothing happens and it won’t work. Cleva said I should try resetting it by reinserting the battery, removing the key, waiting around 30 seconds, then reinserting the key again. Sometimes this does the job and it will work but usually it doesn’t do anything. I feel as though I might be doing something wrong as you never seemed to have any issues with yours in your review nor in any other YouTube videos I’ve watched. Everyone is happy with their mower. Can you please help in trying to resolve this as I just expected to press the start button for it to boot up and then be ready to mow. I’m now on the verge of returning it if I have to go through this rigmarole every time. I bought it to save time but it certainly isn’t doing so far. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. As you point out, I haven’t experienced this issue with my OcuMow, and it sounds as though your unit may be faulty rather than you doing anything wrong.

I would ask Cleva for a replacement unit. The mower is supposed to save you time, and repeatedly removing the battery and isolator key is clearly not acceptable. If they can’t resolve it, I’d consider returning it and looking at an alternative mower.

I hope you get it sorted soon. Mark

Thank you so much for your answer Mark. Yesterday I tried a different tactic of not removing the key at all whilst moving/changing modes etc and it is performing much better now so I think I might have been at fault rather than the mower! I am going to persevere and see how it goes.
