Location of Docking Station for MAMMOTION YUKA mini 2 1000
| ♥ 0 | Hi Mark, I loved your video review of this machine. What is the reason for having 1 metre space either side of the docking station….and is it really necessary? Also, would it mean there is a problem with building a small wooden “dog kennel”-type garage for the docking station? | Private answer Thank you for the kind words, Doug, much appreciated. Regarding the space, I don’t actually have 1 meter on each side of my station and it works perfectly fine. I believe that recommendation is mainly for the YUKA Mini 2’s initial "look around" during the mapping phase; once the map is complete, travel to and from the station becomes much more direct. As for the garage, I don't see any problem with a "dog kennel" style setup. Once the YUKA Mini 2 lines itself up in front of the station, it reverses straight back into it, so the side clearance shouldn't be an issue at all.
