Mammotion Luba Mini 2 AWD 1000/1500
| ♥ 0 | I’m considering purchasing a Mammotion Luba Mini 2 AWD 1000 or 1500 and was wondering how well they might cope around fruit trees? I have several large apple trees in my garden that regularly drop apples over the summer and so I wanted to ask if either model would struggle with fallen fruit on the lawn as this may be interpreted by the mower as obstructions. Also, are the mowers versatile enough to continue working if struck by falling fruit from trees? Many thanks. | Private answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The mower will detect fallen apples as obstacles, particularly if you have the setting on sensitive, so you will need to keep the lawn clear when the apples are falling to avoid uncut areas. Alternatively, you could turn off the AI obstacle detection and rely on the front bumper. This will allow the mower to push the apples out of the way, but it does risk the mower lifting if it rolls over a smaller apple; in that case, the tilt sensor will activate and the mower will stop.
