For the mower to function properly, your boundaries just need to be well-defined so it can distinguish between the grass and the edge. Here is a summary of how it handles different borders:

Visual Boundaries: It looks for changes in color and texture. Paved edges or wooden borders should be at least 35cm wide to ensure the mower stops safely.
Raised Barriers: If a barrier is at least 6cm high, the mower will use its bump sensor to turn around. If the barrier is over 16cm high, the ultrasonic sensors will detect it before contact.
Hedges: These can be used as boundaries, but you must keep the ultrasonic sensors turned on, as the mower’s vision system often identifies foliage as grass.
Gravel: This can be used if the border is more than 35cm wide with very clear edges to prevent the mower from entering and damaging the blades.
As long as your bricks provide a clear visual contrast or a physical height of at least 6cm, the mower should recognize them effectively.
