Requirement for 4G and area of grass to cut

Requirement for 4G and area of grass to cut

0

Hi, I am very interested in the Mammotion Luba 3. However, my cutting area is approx 1.7 acres and due to my remote location I do not have a 4G signal at the house. Would the Luba 3 be suitable or do I need a robot mower that will cut a larger area using RTK rather than 4G?

Hi, the LUBA 3 relies on RTK correction data being delivered via either Wi-Fi or 4G, so if you have no 4G signal at the house or across the lawn, this specific setup would not work.

You would still need a robot mower that uses an RTK station, but the delivery method for the data is the key issue here. Given the size of your property (1.7 acres) and the potential for obstacles like tree coverage, I would strongly suggest speaking to a local supplier who can perform a professional site survey to see what technology would best suit your specific location.

Best regards Mark
