WORX Landroid Vision M600 Review – WR206E / magnetic strips

0

Hello Mark,
Thank you for your very detailed review of the WORX Landroid Vision M600 WR206Eand.
We’ve bought one today :-)
We have a little pond in our garden (one square meter), which is parallel to, and about 50 cm to our terrace.
With our previous Worx Landroid we had blocked off the 2 sides with the wire which went around it.
We were wondering if we have to do the same with the magnetic strips, all around the pond, or would it be enough to just block off the 2 sides. We are a bit scared that the robot would take a dive (during summer he might like a swim?).

Thanks in advance and thanks for the advice!

Yes, it would be a good idea to use the magnetic strips to fully block off the pond. While the Landroid Vision uses a camera to navigate, water can be difficult for the sensors to detect reliably, and using the magnetic strips provides that extra layer of security to ensure your mower doesn't accidentally end up in the water!
