Would the Luba 2 mini cope with a moss.

I have moss covered grass slope 30 deg that is quite difficult to cut on a low lawn mower setting. How would the Luba 2 mini cope do you think?

The LUBA Mini should cope with cutting the moss as long as you do not have it on a too low setting. The motors on the 2025 Mammotion robotic mowers have all been upgraded as many people were trying to cut too much too low and putting the motors under too much strain, hence burning them out.

For your moss-covered 30-degree slope, the LUBA 2 Mini should handle it well in theory - it's designed to manage slopes up to 38 degrees. However, the key will be to start with a higher cutting height initially. This reduces the strain on the motors and gives better traction on the mossy surface, which can be quite slippery.

I'd recommend beginning with the highest height setting and gradually lowering it over several mowing cycles, rather than trying to cut it short immediately. This way, you won't overburden the motors, and the mower will maintain better contact with the surface.

The upgraded motors in the 2025 models are specifically designed to handle these more challenging conditions, but proper setup is still essential for optimal performance and longevity.

Thanks Mark
