The charging station does not need to go on the lawn and can go at the side of your shed. I have mine on a path at the side of my shed and it works perfectly. You simply create a channel/path between the lawn/s and the charge station.

For the YUKA 600, you can definitely locate the base station next to your shed, away from the grass. When mapping, you would include both the lawn areas and the path connecting to the charging station in your map. The mower will learn this route as a transit area that it needs to travel through to get between the charging station and mowing zones.

Please make sure that the YUKA 600 is sufficient for your lawn sizes and also the channel to the charging station. If the 600 needs to charge multiple times in order to complete your lawn you may be better going for the 800 to reduce the number of charge cycles. However this has been somewhat mitigated by Mammotion making the battery accessible to the user and to purchase replacement batteries when needed.
