That being said, with a durable blade and some nice features, you are getting a relatively good deal. The only thing that I would point out here is that since this isn’t designed for heavy-duty work, but is perfect for the average garden environment.

I’d also say that if you wanted something a little more powerful and robust, this would be a good option. Of course, a cordless is never going to wield as much power as a petrol trimmer but with some tools, manufacturers are starting to get closer to achieving this.

This hedge trimmer has a decent running time of 45 minutes and is lightweight. What’s more, the manufacturers have factored in the user’s comfort by including a soft grip handle and some excellent safety features. I’d have to say that this is one of my favourites in terms of performance too; you really are getting the best of everything.

The Terratek 20V hedge trimmers comes with a 51cm blade that will make light work of your hedge with a cutting width of 15mm. The 20v battery delivers a solid level of power, so all you really need to do is guide the tool where you need it to go.
With some cordless hedge trimmers, you may find that you have to give it a bit of your own power to cut through, but this one does all of the hard work for you. I’m going to put this down to the 1100rpm that the motor manages. While this is lower than the average cordless hedge trimmer, it is more than enough for domestic gardening.

Furthermore, since this is a hedge trimmer that is bursting with exciting features, I’d say that you were getting more than your money’s worth. While the durability of this one is slightly less, that’s a minor point when you compare it to everything else you are getting. Just be careful and treat it with respect.
