Power System and Battery
One of the first things I noticed about the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K was that the battery supplied in the box was really powerful. You get an MX24 battery which LawnMaster uses across its 24 v range so you have the advantage of being able to power share.
I have a few of the other 24 v tools and there’s loads in the range including grass and hedge trimmers, chain saws and leaf blowers. If you’re looking to build a collection of LawnMaster tools, this is a really handy feature to have.
What I also love about the battery is the clear indicator light system that tells you exactly how much power you have left. There are four indicator lights which drop down and even change colour to let you know how much running time is remaining. This is super handy and prevents you from being caught short in the middle of a mowing session.
Usually, mowers of this size come with a 2.0Ah battery but LawnMaster has gone above and beyond and supplies you with a 4.0Ah battery. This means you get a seriously good running time for such a small mower. I’ll talk more about how the battery performed during my test later in this article.
If all of that wasn’t enough, consider that the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K comes with an iPower battery. This essentially means that the intelligent power system alters the power from the battery depending on the condition of the lawn. This is an excellent way of conserving power and getting the most out of every charge.
Battery Charger
As well as getting a super reliable lithium ion battery, you’re also supplied with a fast charger. In total, you’re looking at around 60 minutes to go from dead to fully charged and that’s seriously good, especially when you consider competing products and how long they take to charge.
Once the battery is charged, you get a good running time but of course, this is highly dependent on the condition of the lawn. But, as you’ll see in my video review, I covered a whopping 200m² on a single charge so this is certainly a reliable piece of equipment.

Performance
As I mentioned, I was really excited to check out the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K and see what it was capable of. I took the decision to use this model for the first cut of the year on my 100m² front lawn.
Now, I’ll be honest, I took a decent amount of length off of the grass, which, in some areas, had grown up to 20 cm. I wouldn’t usually recommend taking so much off but I really wanted to put the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K through its paces and see how it handles challenging conditions. I was not disappointed.
I set the cutting height to the midpoint and covered the entire lawn on just half the battery. The cut was neat and clean and the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K cut to edges very well. On top of the grass being very long, I also noticed it was quite wet underneath so it impressed me all the more at how easily the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K went through it.
So fantastic was the first go over that I had to lower the cutting height to 35 cm and see if I could squeeze a little more out of the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K. It again did not disappoint. I managed to go over the whole lawn again and the battery still had a small bit of juice left in it.
I was expecting great things out of this mower but when I saw what an amazing job it did, and what a good price it is, I was even more blown away.

Deck and Blade
The LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K comes with a plastic deck. Now, I’ll agree, this isn’t as robust as steel but it’s standard on this size and type of machine. Plus, since this model is designed for everyday grass maintenance, plastic should be more than sufficient.
Underneath the mower, you’ll find a 32cm blade and there’s even a spare one in the box. This is not something you see very often so the addition of that spare blade is a real bonus. What’s more, this 32 cm deck is something new for LawnMaster as, up until recently, their smallest model was 34 cm. So, if you’re looking for something compact then it’s great you can now purchase that from this brand.
There are grass combs on the side of the deck which pull the grass into the path of the blade and make cutting to the edge so much easier.
I also noticed how smooth the deck was which means you won’t end up with lots of grass clippings getting stuck and it’ll be so much easier to clean when you’re done.
Rear Roller
One of the features that you don’t always see on smaller cordless lawn mowers is a rear roller. But yet again, LawnMaster hasn’t scrimped and there is a rear roller included on the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K.
Now, because this is such a lightweight mower, you won’t get as intense stripes as when you’re using a heavy petrol mower. However, if you look at my video review of the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K, you’ll see that it did a more than acceptable job of striping my lawn and I have no complaints about this.

Handles
One of the things that might put people off the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K is that you have to assemble the handles. But don’t let that send you running for the hills just yet because it’s actually a very simple process.
It took me just a few minutes to get everything together and the process doesn’t require the use of any tool which is always a plus point.
It’s just a case of using the spring pins to secure the lower portion of the handle to the mower and then using the supplied bolts and wing nuts to attach the upper part. There are two positions to choose from so you can set the handle according to your height for a more comfortable mowing experience.
The handle does fold at the midpoint but if you want to fold it from the bottom, this isn’t possible. That said, all you need to do is release those spring pins and lay the handle flat. You might think this sounds like additional work but I can assure you it’s far easier than messing about with bolts as you would get on other models.
I really like that LawnMaster has included a left and right starter on the handle. This isn’t something you get on all small lawn mowers and just makes it so much easier to tackle corners and turns without having to stop and start the mower.
Height Adjustment
The LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K comes with five cutting heights that range in 10 mm increments between 25 mm and 65 mm. This is pretty standard for a mower of this size and spec and is certainly more than sufficient for how it is intended to be used.
On a lot of smaller models, you have to flip the mower upside down and adjust the height from the wheels which can be time consuming and fiddly. But LawnMaster really has thought of everything and includes a single height adjustment lever which means you can switch heights in seconds.
Grass Collection Bag
Included in the box of the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K is a 30 litre grass catcher. I was really impressed with the design as this is a hybrid grass box so you really are getting the best of everything.
The top and base are solid which provides protection from flying debris and excellent stability while the mesh sides ensure excellent circulation. When I tested the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K, I noticed how many clippings were packed into the grass catcher and that’s largely down to this superior air flow.
LawnMaster have also included a full flap indicator so you have a clear idea of when the grass box needs to be emptied. One of the things I noticed is how reliable this full flap is. On some models, it can be a bit touch and go as to whether it’s going to work but I had no problems when I tried out the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K.
When you’re finished mowing and need to store your machine, the fact that the grass box folds down to practically nothing is brilliant in terms of space saving and adds to the compact design of the mower overall.

Mulching
There is no mulching plug supplied or available for this LawnMaster lawnmower. If you do want to mulch the cuttings, then you will need to opt for the larger 34cm LawnMaster – CLMF2434G.
Safety Features
Like most cordless lawn mowers, the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K comes with a safety key which must be inserted before you can power the mower up.
I would urge you to consider that the key is tethered to the mower so, if you have kids, it might be a good idea to remove it and put it somewhere safe.
Practicalities
One of the best things about the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K is how compact it is. But not only is it super easy to store and transport (for example, if you want to go and mow the allotment or a neighbour’s lawn) but it’s also super lightweight. This makes carrying it down steps or other obstacles is not a challenge.
What’s more, there’s a handy carry handle at the top of the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K for further convenience.

Usually, manufacturers would use plastic and that’s not very eco-friendly so I thought this was a really nice touch.

Yes, there is some minor assembly required but it’s anything but complicated and even if you’ve never put a mower together before, I’m confident you’ll have no problems. Should You Buy This Model?
If you’re someone that stays on top of their lawn maintenance and needs a mower that’s easy to grab out of the shed and whip around with, then I would recommend the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K. This mower is so user friendly and yet is bursting with features that make taking care of your lawn quick and easy.
I cannot stress how impressed I am at the value for money of the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K. Considering the price, and the small size, it performs exceptionally and comes with a great range of handy features. If you need something on a budget that isn’t going to let you down then I think you’ll be as impressed as I am.
While the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K is recommended for lawns up to 100m², I did manage to cover 200m² on a single charge. So, even if your lawn is slightly larger, you may find that this mower works for you.
Anyone with a small lawn and limited storage space is going to find the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K incredibly useful. Once the machine and grass box are collapsed, it takes up minimal space in the garage or shed so it’s super convenient.
Conclusion
After testing the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K, I am left nothing short of super impressed. The features, user friendliness and impeccable performance of this machine make it such amazing value for money.
Even on challenging lawns that are long and wet, the LawnMaster 32cm Cordless Lawnmower CLM2432K performed like a dream and it’s safe to say that this is now firmly at the top of my list of cordless lawn mowers for small lawns.
