Should You Buy This Model?
I would have to recommend this model to anyone who needs a relatively versatile lawn mower without all the frills and has a larger sized lawn up to 350m². Mountfield mowers (owned by STIGA) are well built and use higher quality components compared to some of its competitors. Whilst this is not designed to be a premium mower, Mountfield have managed to retain quality, whilst keeping the price to an entry level machine.
As I said above, this is the largest of the Electress range with a deck size of 38cm. Just remember there is no rear roller or mulching option with all the mowers in the Electress range. If you are looking for both a rear roller and mulching ability, Mountfield have you covered with their Princess cordless range.
Conclusion
Within the Freedom 100 series, there are three lawn mowers, all with different area sizes in mind. The largest of these models, is this Electress 38 Li, which is a reliable and powerful lawn mower designed for everyday use in the larger garden. What’s more it will not break the bank. While it doesn’t have as many features as some of the more high end models, such as mulching or a rear roller, it does provide you with everything you need to have a nicely maintained lawn with very little effort.
